Not at all. You are free to see a chiropractor on your own accord. However, if you decide that chiropractic care is the best option for you, you can ask your GP for a referral of up to 5 EPC (enhanced primary care) visits which are covered by Medicare.

An “adjustment” describes the chiropractic treatment of your spine. It can be delivered by hand or specialised instruments to restore normal motion and alignment to your spine.
Chiropractors are trained at university for 5 years to ensure that your adjustments are safe, effective and gentle.

Your initial consultation will include a comprehensive assessment performed by Dr Stuart, he will analyse your findings and go through the results with you and advise whether Chiropractic care is suitable in your case. If chiropractic care is recommended please be assured that most people find the adjustment completely painless, in fact a lot of people find it to be relieving and enjoyable. In some instances you may be tender after your adjustments as we are creating important change, however most people describe this tenderness similar to muscle soreness from a workout.

Our price per adjustment typically ranges from $55 to $75 depending on your severity, condition and what rehabilitation is required. All major private health funds cover Bonfire Chiro Chiropractic care.
